Requirements for Appointments
At the time of writing, these are some of the revised working practices that we need to follow to ensure the safety and well-being of our team and yourselves, so please bear with us. We are following guidance from the National Hairdressing Federation and the Government.
Please do not come to your appointment if you feel at all unwell
We are having to adhere to strict guidelines which affect the timing of our bookings, so please arrive on time.
Tint re-touches will now be full head tints
We will have to wash your hair. If this is not possible for you, please ensure that you wash it prior to your appointment.
We are asking clients if they are willing to pay a nominal charge of £1 to help cover our PPE costs. If you feel you don’t want to pay this, please let us know and we will deduct it.
FACE MASKS / GLOVES. UPDATED WEDNESDAY 29th July 2020. FACE MASKS MUST now be worn on entering the salon and for the duration of your appointment. If you are exempt from wearing a face mask, we respectfully ask you to use a sanitised hand held hairdressing face shield which we will supply to protect our team and other guests. Gloves do not need to be worn. All team members will continue to wear face visors.
On arrival at the salon, we will ask you hang your own coat up and take a gown. This will be for single use only and at the end of your visit, we’ll ask you to drop it in a laundry basket.
We have a hands-free sanitizing unit which we ask you to use on entry and throughout your visit or please feel free to visit the bathroom
If you have coloured your hair during lock-down, you will need a skin test at least 48 hours prior to any colour service being carried out.
We will no longer be able to store any belongings/shopping. However, handbags/small bags will be able to be kept with you.
Please come alone (unless you have a carer)
No pets (unless they are assistance dogs)
Sadly we will not be able to offer refreshments for a while, but you are of course free to bring your own
Magazines – we’ll no longer be able to offer magazines, but please feel free to bring your kindle or digital reading material.
If you want to pre-pay for your hair, please phone us prior to the appointment
One the day of your appointment, we will only be able to carry out the booked service due to time constraints. Express hair treatments will be available, but deep massage treatments will not be available for a while.
Retail. We are happy for you to purchase any retail, but please ask a member of the team to get it for you.
We have tried our best to keep to the 2m distancing guidance, but in some areas of the salon, it is simply not possible to do so. Our waiting area will be used for colour processing which is why friends/family members are not able to wait. All our team will be wearing masks, visors, disposable aprons and gloves. Our gowns will be single use only and laundered daily or disposed of if single use ones. We also have face shields should they be required.
We may well have to alter any of the above working practices as time goes on. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
